Councils’ Accounts: A Summary of Public Rights
The basic position
By law, any interested person has the right to inspect a council’s/meeting’s accounts. If you are entitled and registered to vote in local council elections then you (or your representative) have additional rights to ask the appointed auditor questions about the Council’s accounts or object to an item of account contained within them.

Greenhead Parish Council members agreed at their council meeting on Monday 18th September 2023 that they would no longer continue with the asset transfer and wetlands project on the piece of land next to the Tipalt. The decision was made due to many considerations and, in light of the recent public consultation.
The council have written to Mrs Forwood to respectfully decline the generous offer that was made.
